Lithium, street-legal, and serviceable

Every Edge EV we sell runs a lithium pack and arrives LSV-equipped with lights, signals, mirrors, seat belts, and a windshield. Because we service Edge EV controllers and chargers in-house, Edge EV owners in Palm Beach County don't wait weeks for warranty or repair work.

Street-legal golf carts vs. LSVs in Florida

Florida treats a golf cart and a Low-Speed Vehicle (LSV) very differently. A golf cart tops out under 20 mph, has no VIN, and can only be driven on roads a city or county has specifically opened to golf carts. An LSV is a federally classified motor vehicle with a top speed of 20–25 mph: it carries a 17-digit VIN, is titled and registered with the Florida DMV, carries PIP and property-damage insurance, and can be driven on any public road posted 35 mph or less.

Every new electric cart we sell is built as an LSV with the required equipment — headlights, tail and brake lights, turn signals, mirrors, seat belts, windshield, parking brake, and reflectors. Each one comes with a Manufacturer's Certificate of Origin so it can be titled and registered as an LSV in Florida.

What's the difference between the Phantom and the Vortex?

The Phantom is lifted with larger wheels and a taller stance; the Vortex sits lower with sport styling. Both are available in four- and six-passenger versions with the same lithium powertrain.

Is the Glyde a good first cart?

Yes — it's the lowest-priced lithium, street-legal cart in our inventory and the one we recommend for buyers who mostly drive inside a community or to the beach.

Which Edge EV models are lifted?

The LUX 4P and 6P ship lifted. Lift kits and wheel upgrades are available for the other models; ask the shop for options and pricing.
